Adolescent Reproductive Health and Well-being
READ MOREAdolescents in Tanzania face high rates of early pregnancy, limited access to accurate health information, and cultural silence around sexual and reproductive health. Without the right knowledge and support, young people are left exposed to risks that shape their health, education, and futures.
Informed adolescents make safer choices for themselves and the generations that follow.
We empower adolescent girls and boys, in and out of school, with the knowledge and tools to make informed reproductive health decisions. Through peer-led interventions, youth dialogues, school-based outreach, media campaigns, and youth-centered films, we break cultural silence on sensitive topics like consent and early pregnancy. As lead of the Tanzania SRHR Coalition of over 100 organizations, DMF also drives collective action and shapes national reproductive health strategy.
