President Samia Congratulates the Doris Mollel Foundation for Kwimba Neonatal Care Unit

Tanzania's President, Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, has congratulated the Doris Mollel Foundation (DMF) for the construction of a Neonatal Care Unit at Kwimba District Hospital in Mwanza Region. President Samia extended these congratulations on February 27, 2026, at the State House in Dar es Salaam after holding discussions with the DMF's Executive Director, Ms Doris Mollel, who was accompanied by a delegation from the World Health Organization (WHO) led by the WHO Regional Director for Africa, Professor Mohamed Janabi.
In expressing her support for these efforts, President Dr. Samia highlighted the ongoing steps being taken by the Government to improve the health sector in the country, including the construction of new hospitals, health centers, and dispensaries, as well as the provision of modern medical equipment at hospitals, dispensaries, and health centers across the nation.
